Local Education Information

The Annapolis Valley School Board administers an elementary and senior high school in the Town of Windsor, along with other elementary schools and a middle school in the Municipality of West Hants. These are complemented by King's-Edgehill School, Canada's First Independent School (established in 1788) and Citizens of the World Montessori School, both private schools; a privately-owned nursery school and a daycare centre; as well as community education programs offered by the aforementioned School Board.
