Police Protection

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP)  provides community policing services to the Town of Windsor, which include the following:

• Investigation, the detection and prevention of crime
• Enforcement of laws
• The maintenance of peace and order
• Protection of life and property

RCMP members employed under these direct contract agreements also conduct federal enforcement investigations.  The agreement with the Town also provides a source of experienced personnel to assist in major investigations, emergencies and special events where increased resources are required.
